Dimplex Optimist Fires
What is Optimyst technology?
Optimyst turns water into flames. Ultrasonic vibrations turn water from a tank into an ultra-fine, cool mist. As the mist rises through the fuel bed, warm LED light catches it and creates flickering flames and drifting smoke. The effect is fully three-dimensional, so it looks real from any angle, and it's cool to the touch.

Heritage and what makes it special
Dimplex has been making electric fires look real for decades, and Optimyst is where that work went furthest. It was the first electric fire to recreate both flame and smoke. The mist moves with the air in the room, just like a real fire, so no two moments look the same. Since launch it has won industry awards for innovation and has been refined year after year, with better lighting, longer-lasting tanks and more styles, from traditional stoves to modern insets. Most people who see one for the first time ask when it was lit.
