1. About Us and These Terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of our website at shopdimplex.com and the purchase of products from Glen Dimplex UK Limited (company number 01313016), registered at Dimplex Millbrook House, Grange Drive, Hedge End, Southampton, England, SO30 2DF.
By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or place an order.
2. Your Contract With Us
When you place an order, the following steps apply:
- You submit your order and payment details through our secure checkout
- We send you an order acknowledgement email — this is not acceptance of your order
- We accept your order when we dispatch your goods and send a dispatch confirmation email
- A legally binding contract is formed at the point of dispatch
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before dispatch, including if a product is out of stock, if we identify a pricing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund within 14 days.
3. Products and Pricing
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the current applicable rate. Delivery charges (where applicable) are shown separately at checkout.
If we discover a pricing error after your order has been placed, we will contact you and offer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Payment
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Shopify Payments
- PayPal (processed via PayPal's own payment gateway, separate from Shopify Payments)
- Klarna (Buy Now Pay Later and Pay in 3 instalments)
Payment is taken at the point of order. For Klarna transactions, Klarna's own terms and conditions apply in addition to these terms. For PayPal transactions, PayPal's own terms and conditions apply. All payment data is processed securely and we do not store your full card details.
5. Delivery
Please see our Delivery Policy for full details. In summary, we offer free next day delivery on orders to UK mainland addresses, subject to order cut-off times and excluding bank holidays and weekends. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed.
6. Returns, Cancellation and Refunds
Please see our Returns Policy and Refund Policy for full details. Your statutory rights are not affected. In summary:
- You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
- We voluntarily extend this to 30 days for unused, resalable goods
- We arrange a DPD collection for all returns at no cost to you
- Where goods have been handled beyond reasonable inspection, we reserve the right to make a proportionate deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in resale value
7. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your goods are faulty or damaged on arrival:
- Within 30 days of delivery: you have the right to a full refund (the short-term right to reject). You may also request a repair or replacement instead if you prefer.
- Between 30 days and 6 months: we have one opportunity to repair or replace. If we cannot do so successfully, you are entitled to a full or partial refund.
- After 6 months: you retain rights to repair or replacement, though you may need to demonstrate the fault existed at the time of delivery.

8. Warranty
All products are sold with a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Details of the warranty are included with your product. You may also request a copy by emailing support@shopdimplex.com. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, unauthorised modification, fair wear and tear, or failure to follow product instructions. Product warranties can be registered at dimplex.co.uk.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the total price paid for that order.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Glen Dimplex UK Limited and is protected by UK and international copyright law.
11. Privacy and Cookies

12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. Nothing in this clause affects your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your local courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
These terms were last updated on 2 June 2025. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes apply to orders placed after the date of update.
