The ECR20TiB is a 2kW oil-free column radiator ideal for large rooms, with easy-to-use rotary thermostatic controls for precise warmth. A 24-hour programmable timer lets you schedule heating around your day, finished in black and dark grey to suit any interior.

Description

The ECR is a classic finned radiator with superfast warm-up times versus oil-filled equivalents, thanks to patented Thermocore Oil-Free technology offering up to 9% energy savings and no risk of leaks or ruptures. Large rotary controls, three heat settings and an adjustable thermostat give closer control of heat for economical running. Easy-glide castors and a carry handle make it easy to move room to room, while overheat protection and a tilt switch keep safety front of mind. BEAB approved for safety and reliability.

Key features
• Well suited to larger rooms
• A straightforward rotary thermostatic dial for control
• Programmable across a full 24-hour cycle
• 2kW of heat output

Oil-free radiator technology means there's no risk of oil leaks over the product's lifetime, while still delivering the steady, radiant warmth of a traditional radiator. Always stand the unit upright on a level surface and keep it clear of curtains, furniture and other flammable materials while in use.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this product.

How is the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black installed?

The Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black is free standing — no electrician, no drilling into pipework, just position it and plug it in (unless you'd rather have it hardwired). It's built to fit into your room, not the other way around.

How do I control the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black?

It's kept simple: the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black is operated using the controls located on the front of the heater, so there's nothing complicated standing between you and the right level of warmth.

How much heat does the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black produce?

The Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black delivers 2kW of heat — enough to make a genuine difference to a room's temperature rather than just taking the chill off.

Does the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black have a timer?

Yes — the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black comes with a built-in timer, so it can warm the room before you walk in and switch off on its own, rather than being left running longer than it needs to be.

What safety features does the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black have?

Safety comes as standard on the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black, which includes a tilt switch that cuts power if it's knocked over and a safety cut-out if it overheats — the kind of everyday reassurance that means it's genuinely low-worry to have running around the house.

Can the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black be used as a main heat source, or just for extra warmth?

It's flexible enough for either job — the Dimplex ECR20Tib 2kW Black works as a standalone heater for a room without central heating, or as a top-up for warmth on the coldest days elsewhere in the house.
