Description

The ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display combines classic column-radiator warmth with a digital thermostat and LCD programmer. Its 7-day programmable timer lets you schedule heating to suit your routine, while three heat settings (600W, 1.4kW and 2kW) give flexible warmth up to 2kW. Anti-frost protection keeps things safe in colder weather, and gliding wheels with a carry handle make it easy to move from room to room.

Key features
• A 2kW oil-free column radiator with a digital thermostat and LCD programmer
• Programme a full week's schedule to match your routine
• Flexible warmth across three settings: 600W, 1.4kW and 2kW
• Comes with anti-frost protection, gliding wheels and a carry handle

Because the heating element never touches oil, there's nothing to leak or need topping up over the years — just reliable, radiant warmth at the turn of a dial or tap of an app. Keep the unit clear of furnishings and follow the supplied safety guidance for best results.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about this product.

How is the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display installed?

The Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display is freestanding — no electrician, no drilling into pipework, just position it and plug it in (unless you'd rather have it hardwired). It's built to fit into your room, not the other way around.

Can I control how much heat the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display gives out?

Yes — the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display has a digital thermostat and three heat settings, so rather than being stuck with one blast of heat, you can fine-tune it to exactly what the room and the season call for.

How much heat does the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display produce?

The Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display delivers 2kW of heat — enough to make a genuine difference to a room's temperature rather than just taking the chill off.

Does the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display have a timer?

Yes — the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display comes with a timer (7-Day Programmable), so it can warm the room before you walk in and switch off on its own, rather than being left running longer than it needs to be.

What safety features does the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display have?

Safety comes as standard on the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display, which includes a tilt switch that cuts power if it's knocked over, a safety cut-out if it overheats and a frost-protection setting to stop pipes freezing in unheated rooms — the kind of everyday reassurance that means it's genuinely low-worry to have running around the house.

Can the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display be used as a main heat source, or just for extra warmth?

It's flexible enough for either job — the Dimplex ECR 2kW Oil Free Radiator with Display works as a standalone heater for a room without central heating, or as a top-up for warmth on the coldest days elsewhere in the house.
